Club Celebrates Fortieth Birthday
Perry Sorosis Club Holds Annual Picnic I
The Sorosis Club ended its
year’s work with a picnic,
celebrating the club’s fortieth
birthday, Thursday, May 9, at

The Perry Junior High band was in concert last Thursday night, and at the
conclusion of the Spring Concert, band director Gil Acosta announced awards.
Named Most Improved were: Lisa Roberts (second from right) and Boyd
Brooks (second from left). Sharing the Outstanding Junior High School band
student award were: Sherry Fox (L) and Debbie Quesenberry (R).

Perry High’s band held its annual Spring Concert last Thursday night, and
after the end of the concert, director Gil Acosta presented awards for
superlative work. Left to right are: Johnny Cone- Most Improved; Greg
Holec- Most Improved; Dale Willard- Best All Round Senior; Chip Lollis-
Outstanding Senior; Albert Simon- Senior Award; Lee Ellen Hamer- Senior

Pilot Club To Install
New Officers Tuesday
The Pilot Club of Perry will
install 1975-76 officers on

Westfield Headmaster Aaron Turner accepts two checks for the school from
Beitista Club members Mrs. Irene Tuggle (L) and Mrs. Tom Daniel. The club
donated S4OO to the school’s Art and Sciences department, and S2OO to the
library fund.
