Former teacher Ms. Anne Miles and students Mrs. Aubry Byrd, Mr. Ray
Mims, and Mr. William Purser show some of the paintings which will be
displayed at the Spring Art Festival to be held Friday, May 30, from 9:30 A.M.
to 6 P.M. and Saturday, May 31, from 9:30 A.M. to 12 noon at The Bank of
Perry. The Festival is sponsored by the Perry Art Club and will include more
than 150 works by former and present students and their teachers. The public
is cordially invited.
Studio One Announces
Rummer Registration
Studio One of Perry has
announced that the
registration date for its
Summer Classes is May 31
from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Studio One is located across
the street from General
Telephone Co. in the former
Grapevine location. In

Mr. and Mrs. Lee St. John of
Orlando, Fla., announce the
birth of a son who has been
named George Jeffrey St.
John. He weighed seven
pounds, fourteen ounces upon
his arrival May 23 at the
Orange Memorial Hospital,
Orlando.
His grandparents are Mrs.
George Walsh and the late Mr.
Walsh of Stone Mountain and
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert L. St.
John of Perry.
Rites Held For
Mrs. McKinney
Last rites were held
Tuesday afternoon in
Hawkinsville for Mrs. Lucille
Smith McKinney, 76, in the
chapel of Clark Funeral
Home. She died Sunday night
in the Pulaski Hospital after a
lengthy illness. Mrs.
McKinney was the mother of
Elwyn McKinney, executive
vice president of the Perry

An Order Terminating Parental
Rights of a parent terminates all
his rights and obligations with

parental relationship, including

Mrs McKinney was a Dooly
County native and a member
of the First Baptist Church in
Hawkinsville.
Survivors include her
husband, A. Grady McKinny
of Hawkinsville; two sons,
Elwyn McKinney of Perry and
Herbert S. McKinney of
Hardwell; a daughter, Mrs.
Lane Smith of Nashville, Ga.;
two brothers, James Smith of
Jackson, Miss., and Lt. Col.
Ronald W. Smith of Eglin Air
Force Base, Fla. ; two sisters,
Mrs, Sid Holland of
Hawkinsville and Mrs. Guy
Stripling of Albany.

Prior to the final hearing of the
petition in said matter, a
provisional hearing will be held
thereon at the State Court
Building, Warner Robins,
Georgia, at 10:00 o'clock (A M.)
July 1, 1975.
Thefinal hearing is set for 10:00
o'clock (A M.) at the State Court
Building, Warner Robins,
Georgia, on August 1, 1975.
Findings of Fact ond Orders of
Disposition made pursuant to the
provisional hearing will become
final at the final hearing unless
you, the said parent, appear at the
final hearing.
The petition generally alleges
that said child has been deprived
of adequate care and supervision.
