The Pilot Club of Perry is having an Arts and Crafts Bazaar at Ochlahatchee
Clubhouse on October 25 from 10 00 to 6 00. Above are, left to right: Faye
Hawkins. Norma Wilson, and Betty Richerson caught knitting articles for the
bazaar. Below are Sandra Chapman and Linda Smith (R) with kitchen goods,
including milk strainers, jams, jellies, relishes, and placemats. Good things of
all descriptions will be available at the bazaar.

Mr Wagner, a native of
Springfield, Mo., had lived
in Warner Robins one
year, moving from Duluth,
Minn. He was retired
maintenance superin
tendent and guard for the
St Louis County Federal
Savings and Loan and was
a Lutheran.
Survivors include his

The latest thing in
recorded music, "Stereo in
Action", was demon
strated by Mr. Worrall
with several interesting
records which added a new
perspective for the
listener, that of "seeing".
Changes in music now
appearing on the shelves of
music shops emphasize the
Bicentennial theme, such
as "Let Freedom Sing",
Fred Waring's narration
with music, and "America
15...", by Regeneration
Two.
The role of garden
clubbers in adding
something special to the
community was mentioned
by Mr. Worrall, that of
developing an appreciation
of beauty in nature plus the
encouragement of con
servation.
"Beautiful October" was
the inspiring devotional
brought by the Chaplain,
Mrs. Clifford Bragg.
The Garden Club
Calendars for 1976 were
distributed by Mrs. J.P.
Risher, chairman.
The annual Pansy and
Plant Sale was announced
by Mrs. Thomas Arledge,
Jr., chairman, with
delivery of plants to Perry
the week of November 17.

The Thunderbird
District Camporee for area
Boy Scouts was held at
Camp Benjamin Hawkins
near Byron October 3-5.
Theme for the event was
physical fitness. All Scout
troops participated in
campsite improvement
which was used as the
competitive event for
presentation of the coveted
President's Award. Scout
Troop 96 was judged the
winner of this competitive
event for the fifth con
secutive camporee.

Election Ordinance 4
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PERRY:
That pursuant to the Charter of the City of
Perry as amended and the Georgia Municipal
Election Code, the election of the Mayor and
three Councilmen to Posts 4, 5 and 6 for terms of
three (3) years beginning January 1, 1976, shall
be held under the following terms and con
ditions:
1.
Said election shall be held on the first Tuesday
in December, 1975, to-wit: December 2, 1975.
2.
The conduct of the election shall be held
pursuant to the provisions of the Georgia
Municipal Election Code as enacted and
amended. Provided further, the Charter
provisions of the City of Perry Charter jnd
amendments thereto shall be in force and efiect
where same was not repealed or modified by
said Georgia Municipal Election Code.
3.
For the purpose of this election, the office of
the Clerk of the City of Perry is designated as the
office of the municipal superintendent of the
municipality. The municipal superintendent, as
herein named, and other poll officers shall be
named and designated by the Mayor and Council
of the City of Perry and the names thereof shall
be entered in the Minutes of the City of Perry
prior to the holding of this election.
Voting machines shall be used for the conduct
of this election.
5.
The place of holding the election shall be in the
National Guard Armory in the City of Perry,
Georgia.
6.
Each candidate for office shall file notice of his
candidacy in said office of the municipal
superintendent on or before October 31,1975, at 5
o’clock P.M., but not prior to October 20,1975, at
8 o’clock A.M.
7.
The hours of the election shall be between 7
o’clock A.M. and 7 o’clock P.M, on said
December 2, 1975.
8.
The qualification fee for Mayor is $200.00. The
qualification fee for Council posts is SIOO.OO 4
9.
Public notice of this election shall be published
in The Houston Home Journal once a week for
four (4) weeks beginning October 9, 1975.
