of Mrs. Mary F. Broadnax
and the late Mr. Jesse J.
Broadnax of Warner

They wore yellow floor
length gowns with ruffles
at she bottom and down
from the shoulder to she
empire waistline and
matching accessories
They carried bouquets of
yellow daisies with yellow
streamers.
The bride was given in
marriage by her brother,
E. Glenn Broadnax She
wore a lovely Juliet style
gown Chantily lace and
white peau de soie featured
her queen's wedding ring
neckline. Vertical bands of
chantily lace graced the
empire waistline skirt and
sweeping cathedral train.
Her veil of silk bridal
illusion was held by a
Juliet cap. She carried a
bouquet of yellow roses
with baby's breath and
white streamers.
Mrs. Broadnax wore for
her daughter's wedding a
purple knit dress and
matching accessories and
an orchid corsage
The groom's mother
chose a dress of pink knit
with matching accessories
and an orchid corsage
Immediately following
the ceremony, Mrs
Richard Johnson and Mrs
Harold Clay entertained at
a reception in the church
social hall. Mrs. John
Meyers, sister of the bride,

The Perry Business
Women's Club enjoyed a
covered dish supper at
their meeting October 9 at
Ochlahatchee Club House.
Thirty three members and
two visitors attended.
After the meal, a short
business session was held
with club president, Mrs.
Trudy Warren, presiding.
An auction was then held
with our own Mrs. Betty
Richerson in charge. She
did a good job as usual.
Hostesses tor the
evening were Mrs. Betty
Richerson, Mrs. Melonise
Hambrick, Mrs. Sara
Collier and Mrs. Dorothy
Schwartz.
"The paternal grand
parents ot the bride elect
are Mrs Eva Williamson
and the late Mr. W.F.
Williamson of Taylor
County. The maternal
grandparents are the late
Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell
Driskell of Fitzgerald. She
is a graduate of Middle
Georgia College and is now
employed at Security
Federal Savings and Loan
Association of Perry.
The groom is the
grandson of Mrs. Annie
Smith and the late Mr.
DeWitt Smith of Cochran.
The paternal grandparents
are Mrs Parilee Nash and
the late Mr. Edward C.
Nash of Warner Robins. He
is employed at the Sports
Center in Perry.

were attended by Mrs.
Stanley.
A 3 hour lecture and
demonstration in gym
nastic techniques with
Fred Martinez, a former
National champion,
serving on the U.S.
Olympic Committee and
past chairman of the Jr.
Olympic Program was the
highlight of the convention
Accompanying Mrs.
Stanley was her daughter,
Molly, Kate Yeager and
Miss Sandra Stokes of
Macon.
