Perryan
Joins Real
Estate Firm
Perry native Mrs. Faye
Arnold has recently
become one of four Athens,
Ga., real estate
professionals to join in the
formation of a new firm
there, Heritage House
Realtors. She is the former
Faye Rickett of Perry and
is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Max Rickett of Perry.
She is married to Kyle
Edwards Arnold, Jr., who
is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Kyle Arnold, also of Perry.
Mrs. Arnold has been
active in the real estate
industry for the last four
years. She is a graduate of
Perry High School and
attended Ga. Baptist
Hospital School of Nursing,
Tiff College, and Ga.
Southern. Mrs. Arnold
holds the nationally
recognized designation,
GRI, which is awarded
upon successful com
pletion of a 3 year course of
study leading to
proficiency in all aspects
of the real estate industry.
She is currently serving
a 3 year elected term as a
Director of the Athens
Board of Realtors and as
Public Relations Chair
man. She is an active
member of the Ga.
Association of Realtors,
serving on the state
publications committee,
the Natl. Assoc, of
Realtors, and the Natl.
Institute of Real Estate
Brokers. A charter
member of the Women's
Council of the Athens
Board of Realtors, she is
in coming Vice President.
Mrs. Arnold is chairman of
membership orientation
for the Athens Area
Chamber of Commerce
and is a member of the
Chamber's honorary
Ambassador's Club. She is
a team captain tor the 1975
United Way Fund Drive.
Perryon
Elected
Director
Col. Thomas J. Jones of
Mossland Drive, Perry,
has been elected as a
member of the Board of
Directors of the Marlon
Institute Parents'
Association.
He was installed during
Parents' Weekend at the
134 year old military high
school and junior college.
As a director, he
represents the school In his
area and serves in an
advisory capacity to the
administration and
Trustees upon matters
concerning student life.
His son, Vincent, is a
high school junior at
Marion Institute.

Elects New
Officers

The Perry Junior-Senior
4-H Club met on Tuesday
night, October 7th, in the
Agriculture Building.
Several business Items
were attended to but the
main business was the
election of officers.
Following Is a list of of
ficers: President, Beth
Hamer; Boys' Vice
President, Craig Wright;
Girls' Vice President,
Denise Polk; Secretary,
Donna Weir; and
Reporter, Cindy Morrow.
After the election, slides of
last year's summer camp
i at Rock Eagle were
reviewed.
Four 4-H'ers from
Houston will have mini
exhibits on display at Flint
EMC's annual meeting In
Reynolds October 8 and 9.
Those entering exhibits
from Perry were Donna
Weir and Shelly Tucker.
Pam Bowen and Lamar
Lewis entered exhibits
from the Warner Robins 4-
H Club.
