Georgia Press Association.
Bobby Branch was
elected vice president of
the Georgia Press
Association last year and
will succeed to the
presidency of this group in
July this year (1976).
For 105 years, the
Houston Home Journal has
endeavored to serve its
constituency to the best of
its capability. The present
publisher and editor has
had the privilege of
producing the newspaper
during a period of great
prosperity and growth in
Perry and Houston County.
Such times as these
require a young and
vigorous editor such as
Bobby Branch, who is
equal to the task ahd has
met the challenge of the
present situation.
It is a source of
satisfaction to know that
Perry has a newspaper
that reflects its heritage
and promotes its future
The Home Journal is still
what its name implies a
home town newspaper with
contents suitable for home
reading May it continue to
serve this town and county
with distinction for another
century!
