Appreciation week and
an informal initiation for
Perry Jr. Civitans was
held Monday, October
3rd, 1977. The program
was the installation of the
Jr. Civitans new officers
and initiation of all 42 new
members.

Nursing Home Party
Residents of the New Perry Nursing Home
were entertained at a Halloween Party, Monday,
October 24 by Mrs. Rita Daly of Warner Robins
and Mrs. Hilda Wood of Perry. Fruit boxes
were distributed and decorated cupcakes were
brought by the hostesses to be placed on the
lunch trays. Enjoying the party were I to r, Vera
Mitchell, Rita Daly, Mamie Linton, Hilda Wood,
and Annie Arnold.
D.A.R. Installs Officers
The General Daniel
Stewart Chapter,
NSDAR, and the Col.
John Dooly Chapter,
NSSAR, held a joint
meeting at the Pabst
Brewing Company on
Wednesday, October 12.
During the social hour
members and guests
were escorted on tours
through the brewery by
Mr. Joseph Hertrlck and
Mr. Gerald Rudden of the
Pabst Brewing Company.
Following a buffet
dinner served in the
Pabst hospitality center

Sr., Regent, presided
over the business
meeting of the General
Daniel Stewart Chapter,
Houston
Vocational
Registration
The Houston
Vocational Center is
presently accepting
applications for winter
quarter registration.
Deadline for completion
of application and the
required entrance test
will be December 2nd.

and welcomed the 42 new

to accept a check for
$240.47 that was raised
through the Donna
Caldwell Fund
established by the Jr.
Civitans.
This year the club has a
great many projects
planned and needs the
cooperation of new
members to get them all
accomplished.
NSDAR.
During the business
session the new senior
officers of the Com
modore Perry Society,
NSCAR, were installed
by Mrs. Gerald Fling,
Senior National Vice-
President of the
Southeastern Region of
the NSCAR. The new
officers installed are
Mrs. Charles Collins,
Senior President; Mrs.
Perry’s O’Neal
Top Ga. Agent
Thirty insurance
company fleldmen were
honored in Chicago
recently by the
Professional Insurance
Agents (PIA) for having
been named the out
standing representatives
in their profession during
the past year.
The fleldmen were
saluted during the
Awards Luncheon of
PlA's 46th Annual
Convention being held
this week at the Hyatt
Regency Chicago.
