Mrs. Ramsey Simmons in
Balnbridge and together
they went to Mobile, Ala.
where they were joined
by Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Hatcher of Atlanta and
Mr. and Mrs. Stewart
McCrary of Gainesville
for a few days visit. The
party then joined about
400 Shorter College
Alumnae in New Orleans
for a reunion and enjoyed
viewing the King Tut
Treasures. They went on
to Shreveport, La. and
Shelbyville, Texas for a
visit with Mrs. Pritchett's
cousin, N.O. Thomas, Jr.

and Mrs. Mildred Warren
have returned from a
Tauck Tour of the New
England States.
Mr. and Mrs. Shelby
Langston spent the
weekend enjoying the
sights in north Georgia,
Tennessee and North
Carolina.
Miss Barbara Jones
joined friends from
Albany for a trip to New
Orleans where they
enjoyed several days of
sight seeing and visited
the display of the King
Tut Treasures.

is a graduate of The
Westfield Schools and is
employed by Kellwood
Company.
The groom-elect is the
grandson of Mrs. Lillian

Mr. Larry Edmondson

and the late Mr. Herbert
J. Barfield of Cordele. He
Is a graduate of Perry
High School and is ser
ving in the Marine Corp.
He Is presently stationed
at Camp LeJuene, N.C.

afternoon of Sunday,
November 20, at The
Calvary Evangelistic
Church, 520 Bradley St.,
Perry.

Convention. While there,
they enjoyed touring the

J. Lenski of Elmendorf
AFB, Arkansas announce
the engagement of their
daughter, Carol Lenski,
to Gary Hoyte Chapman,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt
Chapman of Cochran.
The bride-elect Is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Albert Lenski of Chicago,
Illinois and the late Mr,
and Mrs. Wilfred W.
Micks. She attended the
Northern Arizona
University at Flagstaff
where she was a member
of the Alpha Delta PI
Sorority and also at
tended the University of
Arizona at Tucson. She is
employed at Norton AFB,
California.
Her finance is the
grandson of the late Mr.

and Mrs. C.C. Chapman
of Perry and the late Mr.
and Mrs. John Arnold of
Cochran. He attended
Middle Georgia College
and received the B.S.
degree in Political
Science, magna cum
laude, from the
University of Georgia.
While at the University,
he was a member of Phi
Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa
Phi and Phi Theta Kappa
Fraternities. He was
named to Who's Who In
American Junior College
In 1971. He is presently
serving in the United
States Air Force at Osan
AB, Korea.
The wedding is planned
for November 26, 1977 In
the Orange Tree Chapel
in Redlands, California.
