bride of Larry Crut
chfield of Fort Valley at a
candlelight service at
seven o'clock in the
evening September 30,
1977 in the Perry
Presbyterian Church.
The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Aldene Lasseter and the
groom is the son of Mrs.
Mary Crutchfield and the
late Mr. Crutchfield of
Fort Valley.
The Reverend James
Stewart officiated at the
impressive double ring
ceremony before a
beautiful setting of
greenery and lighted
tapers in brass can
delabra.
Mrs. Bertram
Brumbaugh presented a
program of wedding
music and Mrs. Herbert
Moore was soloist.
The groom chose his
uncle, Roy Garrett of
Macon as best man. The
ushers were Bill Tribble
of Perry and Tim McCord
of Fort Valley. These
attendants wore can
dlelight tuxedos.
The bride's attendants
were Mrs. Richard
Stafford as matron of
honor and Mrs. Mike
Layfield and Miss Joanie
Harbuck served as her
bridesmaids. All the
attendants are residents
of Marshallville.
The bride's attendants
wore fitted floorlength
gowns of rust polyester
knit featuring a halter
neckline. A cover-up stole
of matching rust chiffon

Sgt. Thomas L. Hardin
formerly of Perry
returned to Ft. Bennlng
October 27 after a
month's special training
at Ft. Bliss, Texas. He is
the son of Mr. and Mrs.
L.A. Hardin of Griffin
and brother of Brenda
Bryant of Perry. Sgt.
Hardin and his wife.

Ga.

ceremony, the guests
enjoyed a reception in the
fellowship hall.
After a short
honeymoon trip, the
couple is residing In Fort
Valley.
After the rehearsal on
September 29, the
wedding party enjoyed a
buffet supper at the home
of Mrs. Mary Crutchfield
in Fort Valley. Assisting
Mrs. Crutchfield were
Mrs. Evelyn Hayes of
Fort Valley, Mrs. Ray
Garrett of Macon and
Mrs. Edna Youngblood of
Warner Robins.

Miss Candace Lasseter
was honored at a series of
parties in September.
Mrs. Bill Hunt en
tertained a group of the
bride-elect's friends at
her home for a Coke
Party on September 10.
Each guest brought a
favorite recipe for Miss
Lasseter to put in her
recipe file that was a gift
from Mrs. Hunt. Mrs.
George Riley assisted
Mrs. Hunt in serving
delicious refreshments.
Miss Lasseter was
honored with a shower on
September 15 at the home
of Mrs. Hobart Richards.
