Q. Are all patients
eligible for reim

A. Generally, the period
of eligibility for Gl Bill

‘The Power Os Prayer’’ This Sunday

Why should we pray?
How should we pray? For
- what should we pray?
What is unanswered
prayer? These are
questions man has asked
since God first spoke to
Him - questions that
must be answered!
Far too long, prayer
has been overlooked as a
subject for a definite film
study ... but, now ECRF
Films presents its newest
release "The Power of
Prayer".
The opening moments
of the film are spent in
Israel, examining
thousands of years of
Jewish history and how
they pertain to prayer.

Sometimes I wonder what I’ll
have for my week’s Cook’s Nook,
and this was one of those weeks. If
any of you have a favorite recipe
that you like, how about sharing it
with my readers.
I do have three recipes that I
think you will be more than pleased
to have. The first is a Broccoli-Rice
Casserole and is one of those
“Make-ahead” casseroles. The
next is a Soy Sauce Rump Roast,
and I know it is a “goodie” as I had
one last week. Last, an easy
dessert made with ice cream and
frozen lemonade -- Pink Lemonade
and Ice Cream Pie.
And so we cook, the weeks fly by
and soon we shall be in the “good
ole summertime!”
BROCCOLI-RICE CASSEROLE
2 cups cooked rice (do not use in
stant)
3 tablespoons butter
1 box frozen chopped broccoli
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 soup can milk
1 small jar Cheez-Whiz
1 cup .chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
Salt and Pepper
While broccoli is thawing in 1 cup
of water that has been brought to a
boil, saute onions and celery in
butter. Add soup and soup can of
milk to onions and celery, then add
Cheez-Whiz. Simmer for a minute
or so, then add thawed broccoli
(drained) and rice and seasoning.

and can be made ahead of time.
SOY SAUCE RUMP ROAST
Rub salt, celery salt, paprika,
black pepper and garlic salt (a tiny
bit) or onion salt into a rump roast.
Then cover the roast with soy
sauce. Let brown in 400 degree
oven and then turn down to 250
degrees, add water to pan; drip
sauce over roast at least twice and
baste the roast with water and soy
sauce in pan. The gravy made from
the soy sauce and water mixture in
pan is delicious, just thicken a bit
with flour and water. Takes about
2Vfc to 3 hours for a 4-pound roast.
If you wish to barbecue the roast,
marinate in soy sauce for a couple
of hours before.
PINK LEMONADE AND
ICE CREAM PIE
2 package graham crackers
1 stick margarine
Vi gallon vanilla ice cream
1 (6-ounce) can frozen pink
lemonade
Crush graham crackers and mix
with melted margarine. Mold this
mixture into 2 8-inch pie pans. This
is the crust. Mix in mixer - ice
cream that is softened and the
lemonade, do not dilute the
lemonade. Freeze. This is enough
filling for two 8-inch pie pans.
Garnish with crumbs.
