Hospital. We wish him a
speedy recovery.

several days last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie
Peoples and children of
Staten Island visited her
father, Buddy Thomas
and his aunt, Mrs. Julia
Young for awhile this
summer. They left for
home last Monday.
Watson Fluellen of Fort
Valley visited his
parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Mack Fluellen last
Sunday.
Mrs. Carrie Minnietield
and most of her family
attended a shower in Fort
Valley at the Citizens
Bank in honor of Cassie
Nash and Gene Dugger
who will get married in
September. Gene is the
son of Mr. and Mrs.
James Dugger and the
grandson of Mrs. Carrie
Minnietield of Perry.
Ervin and Ernest
Daniels of Phila., Pa. and
Canton, Ohio have been in
the city visiting relatives
and friends. Ervin was
with his sister, Mrs. Ida
Mae Martin.
Mrs. Rebecca Grace,
Mrs. Redmond and Mrs.
E. Williams attended a
USDA meeting at Macon
Junior College last week.

Association on Young
Children held a workshop
Saturday, August 26 at St.
Patricks Catholic Church
with approximately 70
persons attending.
Conducting the workshop
was Sue Miller from
Columbus, Ga. on
"Storytelling and
Dramatics” and Marilyn
Mathis from Mt. Berry,
Ga. on "Teacher Made
Toys: Rhythm, Rubbish
and Fun".
