RECORDING ARTIST GINI HAYES AND
HUSBAND HAROLD. Gini Hayes of Macon will
be featured at the Benefit Gospel Singing held at
International City Oxshun Barn on Highway 247,
Bonaire, on Friday, September Bth, beginning 7
p.m. Her husband, Harold, will emcee the event.
Members of the Ingleside Baptist Church, Mr.
and Mrs. Hayes both teach Sunday School. Gini,
a choir member and soloist in her own church,
frequently travels to other churches to speak
and serve as guest soloist. She is a southeastern
speaker and soloist for Christian Women’s Clubs
of America. Seen regularly on Channel 7, Macon
Christian T.V., Gini is heard on many radio
stations including five Christian Broadcasting
Network stations in New York and Virginia.
The parents of three, The Hayes’ desire to be
identified as “just Christians who love the Lord
Jesus Christ and find great joy in serving Him. ”
The September Bth event, sponsored by con
cerned Christians of Bonaire, is being held for the
benefit of MY WORD, INC , a non-profit
organization which purchases programming
time from Warner Robins Christian Radio
Station WAVC. The Trebles from Macon,
Laymen from Warner Robins, Ron Calhoun
Singers from Warner Robins, Happy Hearts and
Young Inspirations from Bonaire and other
groups will be participating. There will be no
charge. Voluntary contributions will be ac
cepted.

Seeks Nominations
The Pilot Club of Perry
is seeking nominations in
the Perry area for a
"handicapped pro
fessional woman of the
year."
Mrs. Betty Richerson,
president of the Pilot
Club, said, "We are at
tempting to involve our
community and
surrounding area in the
selection of some
deserving professional
woman for this honor and
in so doing we hope to
show the public that
handicapped people can
overcome their
disabilities and excel in
their fields of work."
A panel of local judges
will be selected and
announced later who will
make the selection of the
winner which, in turn,
will be nominated by the
Pilot Club of Perry to be
