UTILITY REGULATORY
POLICIES ACT OF 1978.
There will be a public
hearing at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00
p.m. December 13, 1979, at the
general offices of Flint
Electric Membership Cor
poration, Reynolds, Georgia,
for the purpose of considering
lifeline rates as set forth in
Section 114 of the Public Utility
Regulatory Policies Act of
1978, Public Law 95-617.
This hearing will be an
evidentiary hearing and is
open to the public. Any person
shall have the opportunity to
present direct and rebuttal
evidence and to cross-examine
witnesses at the hearing.
Within a reasonable period of
time the hearing board will
issue a written decision based
upon the evidence appearing in
the written record of the
proceedings and this decision
is subject to judicial review as
set forth in Section 3 of the
Public Utility Regulatory
Policies Act of 1967. The
hearing will be transcribed
and reduced to writing and
that along with all
documentary evidence, as well
as any written presentations
by any person, shall form the
record of the hearing. Any
person desiring to do so may
make a presentation either
oral or written, or both, con
cerning lifeline rates.
