Dispute results in shooting
A domestic dispute on Highway
4IS in Henderson Saturday night
resulted in Eddie Keen being shot in
the chest with a .25-caliber pistol,
according to sheriffs reports.
Keen, of Highway 26, Hender
son, was taken to the emergency
room at Perry Hospital, then trans
ferred to the Medical Center ol
Central Georgia in Macon, where
he was in intensive care and listed
in serious condition No charges
have been filed in the incident, ac
cording to a sheriffs investigator.
A blue Murray 10-speed bicycle
was reported stolen from a residence
on Highway 26 Saturday.

in Evergreen Cemetery
A man was found dead in the
Evergreen Cemetery on Main Street
by a city official Friday afternoon,
according to reports. An autopsy
showed that Frank Eschol Sim
mons, of Warner Robins, died of a
heart attack, a police official said.
Perry police are investigating a
robbery Friday night at the Suwan
nee Swifty on Hodges Boulevard.
According to reports, a black male
entered the store and confronted the
attendant, who fled. The man then
took the entire cash register, con
taining more than S2OO, and left.
A Perry woman reported that a
man threatened her, first with a
knife, then a gun, on Bess Street
Sunday afternoon.
A television-VCR combination
was reported stolen in a burglary at
a King Boulevard residence Satur
day.
A stereo system valued at 5725
was reported stolen from an auto
mobile at Pro Audio and Trim on
Carroll Street Saturday afternoon.
A S4O burglary was reported at
Medical Rental Supply on Main
Street Friday.
