Dodson, director of Houston
County Parks and Recreation
Department.
According to Dodson, Adams
will begin her job at a slightly
higher pay grade due to her
extensive education and prior
employment history.
The jail committee unanimously
recommended the board hire Heery
Program Management Inc. to define
the design, construction,
opc r alional and overall budget needs
for the county's new jail.
The board agreed to hire Heery,
although it was not the lowest bid.
In other business, the board
approved a bid by Davis Oil
Company to furnish fuel, approved
the GTE maintenance agreement
renewal, minor personnel changes,
and set some new training
requirements.

certified copy of the child's birth
certificate. Ceritificd copies arc
available through the courthouse.
Guardians may register children
but need to have legal guardianship
papers.
Children should also have a
social security card.
Adams is encouraging all parents
to register their children.
"If you don't now, it will have to
be done at the beginning of the
year,' said Adams.
"And the child just docs not need
the delay," he added.
Pension,

Grundcn.
"The board made the decision
they needed to make,” said Dr.
Harold Chapman, Superintendent of
Schools.
Chapman hopes that money tied
up in trust from First Federal can
be moved as soon as an employee
makes a decision on his choice of
crier.
