national PMA award
Dr. Veronique Desaulniers, a chi
ropractor from Perry, won a coveted
award last week from Practice Man
agement Association (PMA), one
of the nation’s largest consulting
firms for the medical profession.
Her award, Female Chiropractor
of the Year, was based on overall
professional excellence.
"She had no idea she was going
to win. The Board of Directors saw
her as a clear choice as this year's
winner," Dr. Pete Fernandez, PMA
president, said.
"What impressed us most is the
fact that her practice takes care of
the whole family. Her technical
skills are absolutely outstanding,
but her most important virtue is
caring. She is a fine women and is
totally dedicated. She cares about
each and every one of her patients
as people, "he added.
Dr. Desaulniers set up her prac
tice in Perry in 1983. She graduated
from Red River Community Col
lege in Manitoba, Canada with a
degree in biological technology.
She graduated magna cum laude
with a Doctor of Chiropractic de
gree from Life Chiropractic College
in Marietta where she was a mem
ber of the Chiropractor Honor Soci
ety.
Active in many professional or
ganizations, she was elected in
1985 to Inner Circle, an organiza
tion devoted to research and devel
opment in the chiropractic field.
She is a member of the Georgia
and International Chiropractic asso
ciations and is a Diplomatc of the
Chiropractic National Board of Ex
aminers.
