arrested Sunday by Perry Police.
A total of nine vehicles with
out-of-state license plates were

in.
Perry Police Captain Jim Hardy
described what the group was doing
while in Perry.
"They were breaking into cars in
the Comfort Inn lot about 4:30
a.m. Sunday. They had reportedly
stolen a car in Tifton which they
left in the motel parking lot. When
the families woke up they
discovered their vehicles had
suffered body, lock and window
damage. In addition, they found
items ranging from cameras to
snack foods were stolen. Later we
recovered most of the stolen items
including the van that had been
taken," he said.
The three youths were reportedly
picked up Sunday morning in
Forsyth after they were stopped on
a traffic violation. Upon stopping
