Barnes on south Main street at 8 o’clock Fri day night p,fter an illness of sev- eraT months, in fact his health has been poor for several years. Mr. Evans was fifty-one years of age and was well known throughout this section of the state. He was a member of the Methodist church and was also a member of the Royal Arcanum, in which order he was insured for $8,000, Mr. Evans is survived by four children, a boy and three girls.His wife, who was a Miss Brown, pre ceded him to the grave several years ago. He was a brother of Messrs A. M. and W. H. Evans, catarrh. / am seventy-one years old, have an appetite again and can work.
