They bave^gatherer nine hundred bushels of corn, and thev have two thousand more to get iD. There is lots of corn and cotton yet to be gathered. It has been raining off and on for 6ix weeks and they can’t get in the fields for the mud. Our crowd all stood the trip well and we are hale and hearty. Mr. Harmen Martin got a jobfor this week a dollar a day, and next week he will work at the oil mill at $150per d#. That will do very well.
