Mr. A. R. Jackson, of Bartow,
Father of Mr. A. H. Jackson, of Price,
Hall cuonty, died at his home in Bar
tow county, last Monday morning,
aged 64 years, of a complication of
troubles. Besides his son in this coun
ty, nine other children survive him.
The funeral and "burial occurred at
Pine Log last Tuesday. Mr. Jackson’s
friends sympathize with him in the
death of his father.
To Change About.
Mr. B. Z. Holmes moves the first of
the month to the cottage formerly oc
cupied by Mr. L. G. Potter on Green
street. Into the Oliver house, vacated
by Mr. Holmes, Mr. and Mrs. J. A.
Cook will move and conduct a firstclass
boarding house, giving up the Moun
tain View hotel, which they have suc
cessfully run for two years.
Mr. Bush, formerly with the Com
mercial hotel at Athens, has leased the
Mountain View, and will take charge
Saturday. Mr. Bush has the reputa
tion of being one of the most up-to-date
hotel men In the state, and no doubt
he will meet with great success in the
management of the Mountain View.
