i THIS GAINE8VILI& NEWS, WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 19 1904 Miss Agnes Miller, of Chicago, speaks to young women about dangers of the Menstrual Period. " To Young Women :—I suffered for six years with dysmenorrhea (painful periods), so much so that I dreaded every month, as I knew it meant three or four days of intense pain. The doctor said this was due to an inflamed condition of the uterine appendages caused by repeated and neglected colds. “If young girls only realized how dangerous it is to take cold at this critical time, much suffering would be r red them. Thank God for Lydia Pink ham’s Vegetable Com pound, that was the only medicine which helped me any. Within three weeks after I started to take it, I noticed a marked improvement in my general health, and at the time of my next monthly period the pain haa diminished considerably. I kept up the treatment, and was cured a month later. 1 am like another person since. I am in perfect health, my eyes are blighter, I have added 12 pounds to my weight, my color is good, and I feel light and happy."—Miss Agnes Milleu, S55 Potomac Ave., Chicago, Ill. — $6000 B elt If original of above lettor proving genuine• i eannot be produced. The monthly sickness reflects Hie condition of a woman's health. Anything unusual at that time should nave prompt and. proper attention. Ok Gainesville news. INDUSTRIAL Gainesville, Ga., Oct. 19, 1904. Don't Forget To Vote. The people of the£tb. congres sional district should not forget the congressional and presidential election which comes November 8tb. A full vote should be given Hon. Thomas M. Bell, Democratic nominee, aud the electors on the Presidential ticket. Mr. Ashley, Republican nomi- nee for cougrese, is makiug speeches over the district, trying to wake up enthusiasm in his be half—it being “a plaiu matter of business” to him—but his sun beam chasing will do him ho good as the people will overwhelmingly endorse the action of the Demo cratic primary of April 20th. However, to rid the district of Ashleyism and carpetbagism, a big vote should be polled, thus demonstrating to the world that we have native sons who are amply ablo to represent us in the natiou- *»1 congress, and that we need no RooBeveltism, uiggerism and Ash leyiem in ours. While the prospects for the sue cess of Parker and Davis are not very eucouraging, we can register our will in no uncertain way as to bow the 9th. district aud old Georgia strnds. Therefore, keep '.he election of November 8th in mind and go out to the polls aud vote on that day. A Great Sensation. There was'a big sensation in Lees ville, Ind., when W. H.
