Caudler has receieveed an urgent appeal from a person in Bryan county in which the request is made for at least five months’ provisions for about 400 poor peo ple in the county, who were suffer ers at the hands of the blizzard that extended all over the state. The request is a modest one, com pared with some that have come in from other portious of Georgia in the last two weeks, but the Gov ernor is powerless to assist such cases, and can only refer the ap plicants to the authorities of the county in which they live. It is the belief of the Governor that aeverel of the appeals are reallv from needy persons who have lost entirely their early crop of vege tables and have little else to lean on for support. It is also true that others have taken advantage of the blizzard’s passage to attempt to bunko the state, iu preference to going to work. Missouri has more chickenß than any other state in the union. Regardless Cf Age. The kidneys are responsible for more sickness, suffering, and deaths than any other organs of the body. A majority of the ills afflicting peo ple today is traceable to kidney troub le. It prevades all classes of society, in all climates, regardless of age, sex or condition. The symptoms of kidney trouble are unmistakable, such as rheumatism, neuralgia, sleeplessness, pain or dull ache in the back, a desire to urinate often day or night, profuse or scanty supply. Uric acid, or brick-dust deposit in urine are signs of clogged kidneys, causing poisoned and germ-tilled blood. Sometimes the heart acts bad ly, and tube casts (wasting of the kid neys) are found in the urine, which if neglected will result in Bright’s Dis ease, the most dangeious form of kid ney trouble. All these symptoms and conditions are promptly removed unde, the influ ence of Dr. Kilmer’s Swamp-Root. It has a world wide reputation for its wonderful cures of the most distressing cases.
