CANCER
i' Sufferers from this horrible malady
Dearly always inherit it—not necessarily
from the parents, but may be from some
remote ancestor, for Cancer often run*
through several generations. This deadly
poison may lay dormant in the blood for
years, or until you reach middle life, then
the first little sore or ulcer makes its ap
pearance — or a swollen gland in the
breast, or some other part of the body,
gives the first warning.
To cure Cancer thoroughly and perma
nently all the poisonous virus must be
•liminated from the blood—every vestage
if it driven out. This S. S. S. does, and
is the only medicine that can reach deep
seated, obstinate blood troubles like this.
When all the poison has been forced out
of the system the Cancer heals, and the
disease never returns.
Cancer begins often in a small way, as the
following letter from Mrs. Shirer shows:
A small pimple came on my law about an inch
below the ear on the leftside of my face. It gave
me no pain or inconven- jaatAt
einee, and I should have
forgotten about it had it
not begun to indame and
fich; it would bleed a
little, then scab over, bat (B

A domestic tragedy was enacted
a few days ago by Caesar Bloodsaw,
colored, and his wife, Phyllis.
Caesar soundly slapped her jaws
and she returned the compliment
by cutting him with an ax on the
right arm above the elbow, eleven
stitches being required to close up
the lascerated flesh. It may be
that Caesar’s wife was not abovo
suspicion, and that she resented
the imputation by playing Brutus
with an ax instead of a dagger.
Persons who suffer from indiges
tion canuot expect to live long, be
cause they cannot eat the food re
quired to nourish the body, and
the products of the undigested
foods they do eat poison the blood.
It is important to cure indigestion
as soon as possible, and the best
method of doing this is to use the
preparation known as Kodol Dys
pepsia Cure. It digests what you
eat and restores all the digestive
organs to perfect health, Bagwell

THE MORAL OIIS.
Is it true, or is it not,
That deeds are done to be forgot ?
Is it false, or is it so,
That dpeds are done to make a show ?
Should we execute our strokes
To gain the praise of other folks,
; Or is it better with our might
To do the deed we know is right ?
Have you ever found it so
That people strive to make a show,
And then with freedom cast their scorn
At people who were higher born ?
Who that cup of scorn can drink
And not before them cringe or shrink.
Has nerve to face the storm of life
And hold the fort on fields of strife.
Would that every one could know
That moral right surpasses show,
And money, when we’re done with life,
Will only tempt our friends to strife.
Hut few will listen to such chat,
They hide their face behind their hat
And discontentedly they think
Such thoughts are far too dry to drink.

Drink Habit Among Women.
“Intoxication is growing among
women at a faster rate than among
men. The future of the world de

This was the problem which
Bishop Leighton Coleman, of Del

Temperance Society recently.
“The great work of this society
for th 6 present year, and in fact,
for the entire century,” said Bish
op Coleman in his address, “is,
while not neglecting the men, to
reclaim the women. During the
past 50 years statistics prove that
drunkenness among men has Btead

among women has been most
alarming.”—New York World.
