Mrs. Harold B. Ferguson died at
a private sanitarium in Atlanta, Oc
tober 23, 1923. She.is survived by
her husband and by her parents. Mr.
and Mrs. M. O. Matthews. The. fu
neral will be held today at 11 o’clock
at Liberty church, Lilburft, Ga. In
terment will be in the church ceme
tery. j

north along said line to the Shallow
Ford road and thence west with said
road to the beginning point, making

and benig the same land conveyed to
Frank H. Medlock by deed duly made
and recorded in the office of J the
clerk of the superior court of iGwin
nett county, Georgia, in book No.
34, page 503, April 26, 1919, to
which deed reference is hereby made

ing same deeded to Leo Hamilton on
the Bth day of September, 1919.

property of Leo Hamilton under a
fi. fa. issued from the superior court
of said county in favor of W. T. El
lard, administrator of the estate of
T. H. Ellard, deceased, against Leo
Hamilton. The said Leo Hamilton

LIGHTER CARS.
Detroit, Mich. —How rapidly the
trend of sentiment is swinging to
ward the use of lighter motor car
equipment, in order to more satis
factorily meet present day • traffic
conditions, is emphasized in the tre
mendous increase in sales of the
Ford Motor Company for the first
three-quarters of the present year.
An analysis of these sales shows
that the entiment is not alone among
passepger ?ar buyers but extends to
commercial car purchasers who are
finding that the smaller motor haul
age unit effects .more efficient,
speedy and economical d4livery ser
vice.
Sales of Ford cars and -trucks in
the United States for the first nine
month's of the year totaled 1,354,-
020, it ,is just announced. This is
an increase of 446,433 over the same
months of 1922. •
In September alone, 141,467 Ford
cars and trucks were delivered at
retail, a gain of 85,029 over Septem
ber last year, while truck sales for
the month Wehe 15,947 or 4,589
more than in thesame month a year
ago.
