funeral of his father W. J. Pierce
who was until a few years ago a
well kiown and highly respected

sympathy to the bereaued family.

school is progressing nicely with Prof.

being hauled and laid down on the
ground for the new school building.

Miss Grace Barker Saturday night.
Miss Eva Miers and Alberta Corley

Jan.. 28.—We regret to hear of the
continued illiness of Mr. J. K. Jack
son, and his daughter, Mrs. Cronic,
who are in Atlanta hospitals.
The attendance of our school has
increased so as to require and as
sistant who is, Miss Ola Ethridge,
from Grayson.
Mr. Marvin and Boyd Hollant, of
Rabbit Hill passed this way Sunday,
enrout to visit their mother.
Sunday being regular preaching
day at the Grove, in the absents of

pulpit actably.

Mist was saddned last Wednesday
by the death of Mr. Earnest Burke,
he will be greatly missed by all.
There is a lot of sickness in oue
mist at this writing, Wc hope they
