TURN HAIR DARK
WITH SAGE TEA
If Mixed with Sulphur It Darken*
So Naturally Nobody
y Can Tell
The oM-thne mixture of Sage Tea
and Sulphur for darkening gray,
streaked and faded hair is grandmoth
er’s recipe, and folks are again using it
to keep their hair a good, even color,
which is quite sensible, as we are liv
ing in an age when a youthful appear
ance is of the greatest advantage.
Nowadays, though, we don’t have the
troublesome task of gathering the sage
and the mtissy mixing at home. All
drug stores sell the ready-to-use prod
uct, improved by the addition of other
ingredients, called "Wyeth’s Sage and
Sulphur Compound.” It is very popu
lar because nobody can discover it has
been applied. Simply mpisten your
comb or a soft brush with it and draw
this through your hair, taking one small
strand at a time; by morning the gray
hair disappears, but what delights the
ladies with Wyeth’s Sage and Sulphur
Compound, is that, besides beautifully
darkening the hair after a few applica
tions, it also produces that soft lustre
and appearance of abundance which is
so attractive.

FIERY, ITCHY SKIN
QUICKLY SOOTHED
BY THIS SULPHUR
Mentho-Sulphur, a pleasant cream,
will soothe and heal skin that is irri
tated or broken out with eczema; that
is covered with ugly rash or pimple®,
or is rough or dry. Nothing subdues
fiery skin eruptions so quickly, says a
noted skin specialist.
The moment this sulphur preparation
Is applied the itching stops and after
two or three applications, the eczema
is gone and the skin is delightfully clear
and smooth. Sulphur is so precious as
a skin remedy because it destroys the
parasites that cause the burning, itch
ing or disfigurement. Mentho-Sulphur
always heals eczema right up.
A-small jar of Rowles Mentho-Sul
phur may be had at any good drug
store.
BID PEPPED FOR
GOLDS IN CHEST
Ease your tight, aching chest. Stop
the pain. Break up the congestion.
Feel a bad loosen up in just a
short time.
Red Pepper Rub is the cold rem
edy that brings quickest relief. It can
not hurt you and it certainly seems to
end the tightness and drive the conges
tion and soreness right out.
Nothing has such concentrated, pene
trating heat as red peppers, and when
heat penetrates right down into colds,
congestion, aching' muscles and sore,
stiff joints relief comes at once.
The moment you apply Red Pepper
Rub you feel the tingling heat. In three
minutes the congested spot is warmed
through and through. When you are
suffering from a cold, rheumatism,
backache, stiff neck or sore muscies,
just get a jar of'Rowles Red Pepper
Rub, made from red peppers, at any
drug store. You will have the quickest
relief known.
Have Kidneys
Examined By
Your Doctor
Take Salts to Wash Kidneys If
Back Pains You or Bladder
Bothers
Flush your kidneys by drinking a.
quart of water each day, also take salts
occasionally, says a noted authority, who
tells us that too much rich food forms
acids which almost' paralyze the kidneys
in their efforts to expel it from the
blood. They become sluggish and
weaken; then you may suffer with a
dull misery' in the kidney region, sharp
pains in the back or sick headache, dizzi
ness, your stomach sours, tongue is
coated, and when the weather is bad
you have rheumatic twinges. The urine
gets cloudy, full of sediment, the chan
nels often get sore and irritated, obliging
you to seek relief two or three times
during the night.
• To help neutralize these irritating
acids, to help cleanse the kidneys ana
flush off the body's urinouS waste, get
four ounces of Jad Salts from any phar
macy here; take a tablespoonfu! in a.
?lass of water before breakfast for a
ew days, and your kidneys may then
act fine. This famous' salts is made
from the acid of grapes and lemon juice,
combined with lithia,, and has' been used
for years to help tlush and stimulate
sluggish kidneys; also to neutralize the
acids in the system so they no longer
irritate, thus often relieving bladder
weakness.
Jad Salts is inexpensive; can not in
jure and makes a delightful efferves
cent lithia-water drink. By all means
have your physician examine your kid
neys at least twice a year.
