FROM THE FATHER: pleasure and

have derived from the use ot
Ayer’s Sarsaparilla.
Six months ago I va t completely covered with
a terrible humor and scrofulous sores. Tho
humor caused an incessant and Intolerable
itching, and the skin cracked so as to cause
the blood to flow in many places whenever
I moved. My sufferings were great, and my
life a burden. I commenced the use of the
Sarsaparilla in April last, an 1 have used
It regularly since that time. My condition
began to improve at once. The sores have
.all healed, and I feel perfectly well in every
respect being now able to do a good day’s
work, although 73 years of age. Many inquire

Warren Leland,
whom everybody knows as tho suecessfu
manager of the
Largest Hotel Enterprises
cf America, says that while a passenger from
New York on board a ship going around Capu
Hora, in the early days of emigration to Cal
ifornia, he learned that of the officers of
the vessel had cured himself, during the voy
age, of an obstinate disease by the use of
Ayers Sarsaparilla.
Since then Mr. Leland has recommended
Aver’s Sarsaparilla in many similar
cases, and he has never yet heard of its fail
ure to effect a radical cure.
Some years ago one of Mr. Iceland’s farm
laborers bruised his leg. Owing to the bac
state of his blood, an ugly scrofulous swelling
or lump appeared on the injured limb. Hor
rible itching of the skin, with burning and
darting pains through the lump, made life
almost intolerable. The leg became enor
mously enlarged, and running ulcers formed,
discharging great quantities o l extremely
offensive matter. No treatment was of any
avail until the man, by Mr. Lei.and’s direc
tion, was supplied with AVer’s Sarsapa
rilla, which allayed the pain and irritation,
healed the sores, removed the swelling, aud
completely restored the limb to use.
Mr. Leland has personally used
Ayers Sarsaparilla
lor Kheumatism, with entire success ; and,
after careful observation, declares that, iu
his belief, there is no medicine in the world
squal to it for the cure of L*ver Disorders,
Oout, the effects of high living, Salt
Kheitm, Sores, Eruptions, ami all the
various forms of blood diseases.
We have Mr. Lelani/s permission to invite
all who may desire further evidence in regard
to the extraordinary curative powers ol
Ayer’s Sarsaparilla to 6ce him person
ally either at hia mammoth Ocean Hotel.
Long Branch,or at the popular Leland II vie .
Broadway, 27th and 28th Streets, New \ ork.
Mr. Leland's extensive knowledge of the
good done by this unequalled eradicator of
blood poisons enables him to give inquirers
much valuable information.

boiior’s Mistake.
t3nc of tlte old mistakes of tlie
profession was to think that there
were no other ways of curing dis
ease except those which had been
handed down from former times.
It is not to be denied that the
Doctors have done great things
for the world. But when it comes
right down to the real curing of
disease, it must be admitted that
Brown’s Iron Bitters has done en
ough to earn the generous gratitude
of this whole present generation,
including the medical profession!
There are no mysteries or secrets
about the compounding of Brown’s
Iron Bitters. This preparation oi
iron is the only preparation which
will not injure teeth or stomach. In
this it is beyond comparison better
than the other preparations, which
are mischievous and injurious.
You need not fear a mistake in
trying Brown’s Iron Bitters. Your
druggist has it. It gives vigor to the
feeble, and new life to the dyspep
tic. Children take it, not only with
safety, but with great advantage. 6 i
