Holds Picnic,
The Farmer’s Union gave a pic
nic at Clay park near here last Sat
urday. :

were much appreciated.
There were about three hundred

pleasantly spent by all.

At Kingsland.
The farmers of this section will
meet at Kingsland on Thursday,
October 7th and will hold an insti
tote, Many farmers from this
lcounty will attend and it will be a
day for thew.
I Tnere will be speaking by the
different officers of the Uaion, and
the soeeches will no doubt be a help
to the farmers and of much interest.
They will have a basket dinner.
