Charlton County Grape Fruit.
A few days ago, Hill Spatcher,
one ot our colored farmers, brought
to town a barrel of grape fruit that
that was grown on his place, ‘Tuey
were as fine, as can be found any
where, People living away from
here bought some of them, and were
surprised that such feuit could be
grown in this section. This speaks
for our lands and shows what caa
be grown here if people will become
interested and plart such valuable
<crops. There are orange trees that
bear as fine fruit as can be found n
Florida, and t e best peaches to be
tound any where are grown in
Charlton Couaty. ‘
