Teachers Examination
County School Commissioner Mal
lard informs us that the annual ex
amination of teachers will be held
on the 17th and 18th of June this
year,
He says that a Normal class will
be organized and some special prep
aration made by these, who intend
taking this exgmination,
We think that a class of fifty or
more could be brought together in
this work, and that such a move
would be a great benefit to teachers
Let us all begin to talk thcthing‘
and see what can be done, |
The last years normal was a sue
-Icoss and the proposed class for this
vear ought to be larger and accom
plish more,
Let every teacher and advanced
pupil in the County take this mat
ltor under consideration, and decide
to work for the normal, which meets
in May and continues until the ex
laminutinn. A review of all school
work and all the common school
branches will certainly be of con
siderable assistance in the exam
ination as well as a help in teach
ing.
