The minstrel performance given
by the pupils in Miss Askew’s room
closed the afternoon program
The songs and jokes were alright
and every one taking part deserve
praise aud thanks for a mosten
joyable entertainment. Those ta

Cinderiila, a beautiful soar act
play, trained by Mrs. Wood, the
pupils of the fifth grade taking
the leading parts, was one of the
prettiest plays eve * staged iz ou
town. The costumes were espec
ially beautiful. The cast was as

Mattox at 5 o’bloek this Thursday
morning eaused from a siroke of
paralysis-ouring the night was a
shoek to her legion of friends and
has saddened the community in
which she was reared and lived a
-ife of great usefullness and an
ntercsting family, and it Wwas
was such a beautiful event in her
passing thatall her children except

The Side Shows
The side shows were umque
and amusing. There wss he
“Roum of mystery’ with the Jau
uary ground hog, the grave dig
ger, the floating match, and ma .y
others, quite mysterious. The
show for “Men Only” was aimost
passed up for there were so few
men present. We wish to Say

find a “for men only” garment.
