. The Wrong Barber
Someone called over long dis~
tance trom Foikston the other
day and asked for Mr. Barber.
The forcman of the shop is none
other than Bill Barber, and it was
natural that Bili was haled to the
telephone to see what o tarna
tion had happened in the l'“)lks-‘
ton community,
“Yes, this is Barber,” Bill re-1
sponded, when he shoved the re
ceiver to his ear. And he con
tinued.
“What's that? Can | come
down end catch a ‘bear? You
must have your wiies crossed!
I'm a printer, ['ve caught every
thing m my life BUT ‘bears.” No,
sir, | won't be able so do any Lear
chasing for you. Good bye.”
And the wrinkles were all iron:
ed ont later when it was revealed
thot a farmer near Folkston was
looking for Perry Barber, famous
old bear hunter of the Okefeno
kee swamp, to come down and
catch a bear that was ealing up
his pigs.—Waycross Jourral-Her

Was In
Misery
All Over
*] was in a dreadfully run
down condition,” says Mrs. Chas.
L. Lacroix, of Montgomery, La.
“I suffered a grest geal of pain.
I was in misery all over. I
could not sit up and I could not
lie dowvn. I couldn’t sleep and
at times I would have dreadful
vomiting spells. The aches and
{:ains seemed to cover my whole
oay,
“One night my husband
brought me home six bottles of
Cardui and I began to take it.
I could tell that I was improv
ing from the first bottle, but I
kept on taking the mediciue, for
I knew that I needed a tonic
that would bwfld me up and
strengthen me where 1 was
weak and rundown. That is
exactly what Cardui did for me.
After I had finished the six bot
tles I felt fine.
*] feel truly thankful for what
Cardui has done for me, for I
could not have gone on living in
the desperate condition I was in.”
