WILL THE ROADS BE FINISHED IN YOUR TIME? ‘
Mr. Motorist: Consider the wayside cemetery and what it
means to you.
At the present rate of hard surfacing roads in Georgia it will
be another twenty years before the hard surfacing of the State
System can be completed.
In twenty years three hundred out of every one thousand peo
ple now alive will be in the cemetery.
Are you going to ride on the completed System during your life
time, or will you lie in the cemetery while others ride on roads for
which you have paid a large part of the cost.
You are paying sufficient now in motor license and gasoline
taxes to give you, under proper financing methods, the entire
System completed in five to six years.
If you want the roads, interest yourself in the problem. They
are your roads, for your use, and you are paying fl:)r them.
