So far as Folkston is concerned we are ready to launch the new Tobacco Belt League. with Baviey, the latest entrant our first oppo nent for opening day on Tuesday, The grounds having been clay ed and rolled are in good shape for playing. Col. Woods our representative of the League will present the list of eligible players at the direc tors meeting Monday as well as three names as umpires. Mr. C. E. Stroupe, Mauager: N. Askew, Captain; W. A. On the big market these ber ries goes fine and with conditions as we have them, this gives usa natural fruit to make some ready money, but the quanity must be kere o ship them. Plants Moving.—Mrs. Pauline | Cox, sister of Mr, Paul Co: of the Council Seed Co., was down frem Wiyeross Wednesday superin tending the loading of the firs| shipment of tomato plants grown on contract by Prof. Waughtei 114,000 went furward in the first shipment. The reports from other sources are that many seed beds wer: destroved on geeoun of the rains, and some of thos that planted here lost there plant ing.
