First District Odd Fellows and Rebeccas Coming to Folkston, Tuesday, Oct. 2. The Odd Fellows of the First District. which inciuded ractically all of the Eleventh Congressional District, avill gather for a district meet in Folkston next Tuesday, Oct 2nd. aud will celebrate with public gathering at Masoniac Tem ple. Mr. C, L. Elloitt one of the most enthusiastic member of that worganization in Geodrgia, and a leading state officals will preside. Mr. L. E. Mallard will extend the welcome of the city to the vis iting delegation. The meeting will be called to order at 2 p. m. Public ceremony wiill oceur from 3 to 4 o’clock. The public is invited to aftend and enjoy the open meeting. At night the Rebecca Lodge will entertsin with a public recep tion, and Mr, William Mizell, Jr. will make the address of welcome. The Ladies will have program of entertaiinment that -will please their friends as the ladies of the Rebecca Lodge always does. On good roaus, good democracy and good government these four will do all in their power for Georgia’s at the convention, Mr. Price Dead Mr. D. L. Price, Jacksonville, brother-in-law of Mr. Jas. Purdom, died Wednesday of last week in Jacksoiville and was interred Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery He was 67 years of age. He leay es a wife and four children, all ot whom are married except one. As no reports of his illniess had been received by John previously the death must have been from a very short illness. He leave a wife and seyerul childern. —_—— Three More Snakes Sol Mills and Mr. John Moore killed three rattle snakes near Burnt Fort tlis week, they having been driven from the: low lands by the high wate;.
