Truly the pathway of Mrs. Me Donald grew brighter toward the end and as her loved ones gathered around her, so sweetly did she speak and admonish, as if going on a long leave of absence, yes she had nobly enlisted under the banner of the cross of Jesus Christ, and having won the fight, She was ready for the call and death was swallowed up in . God f' grant us all a life as fruit ful as hers and a death triumphant. Therefore be if Resolved 1st That while we • deeply deplore her departure we thank God for her life and what we have known of it. 2nd That to the bereaved family we offer our most tender sympathy and urge that they be resigned to His will Who has i ^- a ^ en her to himself in realms of peace and rest, and may each be allowed to say. Tlie dark and tlio storm Make me cling all the closer, heart bleed ing and torn; a There at thy side I’ll find balm for my i loss, For thou kuewest sorrow, O Christ, on the cross. 3rd That a place on memories page of each heart of the mem¬ bers of our societies be perpetu¬ ated by inscribing or spreading these resolutions to her memory on our Societies records, And that a copy of same be sent to her bereaved family, and published in Fort Valley Leader. .
