Some Things to Think
About,
The Woman’.' Home Mission
Society of the M E Church South,
carries on city Mission work at
twenty four different centers,
Engaged in this work at these
twenty four centers were forty
one trained, sixty two salaried,
and two hundred and eighty nine
volunteer workers, for the year
just passed. This work was
accomplished at a cost of $29,864.
98. Besides this, the Woman’s
Home Mission Society maintains
fourteen schools, employing
sixty one teachers,where instruc¬
tion is given 1,654 students. In
our schools on the Pacific coast,
and in Key West, Tampa and
West Tampa Fla. our pupils are
almost >nti~ely children
foreign born parents. Through
Bishop Hendrix, we learn
already these schools for Chinese,
Japanese and Cuban boys and
girls, are sending reinforcements
to the evangelistic forces in our
foreign mission fields. The con¬
verted Chinamen are returning
with the “glad tidings of good
things” to their native country,
and likewise the converted
ese and Cuban, to theirs.
this is but one other proof
God honors every labor of
love and unites every agency
the accomplishment of His
supreme purpose the
of the world unto Himself.
