Shall Drag Germany Into War
Of Revenge,” Says Chancellor
Berlin,—Speaking at a somewhat j
stormy meeting in Munich, Chancellor !
Mueller declared to a cheering crowd
that on June 6 , the day of the Ger

be Germany’s business to attest the ;
fact “that she has had enough ol war j
for all eternity and that no fool,
crowned or uncrowned, shall drag Ger

“Foreigners," continued Doctor
Mueller, “have told me they could not
believe it possible that the frame of
mind of the German people could be
changed in so short a time, hut, after
the Kapp. coup, even the entente mill
tary officers admitted to me their con
viction that we had become truly dem
ocratic.”
The chancellor referred to the com
of hope which Germany could enter

tain that the extremists realize the im- j
possibility of keeping Germany down |
economically and politically and at the
same time demanding extreme I
