One of the largest and most en¬ joyable parties for the young folks was the “Pilgrim Party” on last Fri¬ day afternoon, at which little Miss Carolyn Wilson was tbe charming hostess. As the guests arrived the girls were given caps and ’kerchiefs made of white crepe paper to wear, and the boys donned the paper collars and cuffs. When all had been dressed as pilgrims they were ready to partici pate in the old-fashioned games such as “Going to Jerusalem.” Corn cobs wei-e provided with which to build log houses, and the prize, a box of fruit, was won by Tom Edwards, for the best-built log house. Clothes pins were then given to all to be used as dolls to be dressed in crepe paper. It was lots of fun to see the boys dress¬ ing the dolls. The prize for the best dressed doll was won by Ruth How¬ ard McMillan, and was a real doll. Another contest which was enjoy¬ ed was an old-fashioned spelling bee. The prize, a box of fruit, was won by Raynelle Pearson, the next best speller, the hostess being the best. Refreshments were served to all in paper trays attractively lined with crepe paper, in which peanuts, pop¬ corn, apples and stick candy were placed. The party was genuinely enjoyed by all the little guests. £ £ J; Dahl's Flowers ffi £ Eastman Kodaks £ Norris Candies £ £ £ £ £ £ Copeland's £ £ fl £ Pharmacy H. M. COPELAND, Prop.
