(Sandy Jim) Fletcher was in town yesterday. A wedding may take place in Ocilla within two weeks or it may not. That’s the way to be accurate. What young man named Henry T. Fletcher once tried to-eat clabber with a knife because ho was too bashful to ask for a spoon? Mrs. D. J, Henderson sent the Dispatch orphanage three eg? plants Monday that would do no* discredit to the best market gard¬ ener in the state. They were the largest we have seen this year, and the size is remarkable, considering the long drouth in the spring and early summer. Mr. S. M. Booth, who spent last week in Ocilla prospecting, return- ed to his home in Tattnall county Monday. It is said he will return soon and erect a two-story brick store on the vacant lot west of the postoffice. Mr. Booth is a nehpew of our Big John Clements, and will make a desirable citizen. Bussell and P, T. McGeehee returned last Friday from a prospecting trip of a week’s duration in Coieuitt county. Graydon suffered from another stroke of paralyis last week, so severe as to draw the lower jaw from its socket, by contraction of the muscles. A consultation of at¬ tending physicians was held, and Saturday evening a successful oper¬ ation was performed, and the jaw replaced and secured with bandages. —Tifton Gazette.
