Who can .describe t’•<■ exquisite pleasure of an evening spent watch¬ ing the varied scenes that come and go on the surface.of a nioiiutry star? Tho bright faoas «rf our fnicuds, the scones we visited with Cheng the gift aces whore we met and parted, are :all brought out in perfect form; .and even as we gaze, the very tones •of tlieir v oices come hack to us in .all tlieiivswectness. Even tlie forms and faces of .our dead, under their iflo.wer covered mounds, are not lost to .us .forever; fur we have only ,to (look to memory and see them as they were ere the death angle touched them.
