DEATH OF MRS. MADDOX:
Mrs. Rachael Maddox, moth¬
er of Col. John Maddox, died on
last Monday evening, and was
buried -at Rockdale cemetery
Tuesday at 11 a. m. Mrs., Mad¬
dox was affiictod ? first With la
grippe, then catarrhal fever, and
finally was too much weakened
to resist further the persistent
hold of the complication of disk
eases which terminated her life!
.She was, a most excellent Christ¬
ian lady, for many,years a mem¬
ber of the Presbyterian church >
She died at The-age’of 63 years!
