Easter Sunday.
Last Sunday was a beautiful¬
ly br ghtday and its brightness
was greatly augmented by the
many new and beautiful cos¬
tumes worn by the fair sex
Everybody seemed to be in the
full enjoyment of their sur¬
roundings without burdens or
cares and anticipating naugnt
but pleasure. The different
church services were well atten¬
ded and the services were
propiii >us.
Easter hats were conspicu¬
ous and unusually stylish for a
small town anrl the ladies were
just too bright and pretty for
anything. In the afternoon a
bout eighteen couples of young
people proceded to “walk in”
the town, and it was remarked
that more suitable “pairs”
would be difficult to scare up.
Some of the boys were very
auxious to consumate their
‘suits” on the instaDtand actu¬
ally “slowed up” while passing
the houses of Ministers and J.
P’s., but their partners not be¬
ing romantically incliued, pie
vaded in their objections.
It was a bright day in Con¬
yers and will be pleasantly re¬
membered until annther Easter
Sunday shall come with its
brightness and make a new lec
cord.

BAD BREATH
Is What a Woman Dreads More
Than Pestilence or Famine.
And yet thousands of women
are so afflicted. In spite of all
they can do this continues to
grow worse, or at least grow no
j better, Tooth-brushes and
I breath perfume seems of no a
vail. The reason of their fail¬
ure is, in the majority of cases
at least, they do not know the
cause of their trouble. Pet haps
the most frequent case of un¬
pleasant breath'8 catarrh. The
inflammation of the mucous
membrane of mouth and throat
discolors the teeth, coats the
tongue, causes the lips to be¬
come harsh aud sore, and im¬
parts a more or less disagreea¬
ble odor to the breath. Such
a condition must be an extreme
annoyance to the woman whose
instincts are naturally dainty:
and she would do anything iu

her power to overcome it.
To all such women, the word
that Pe-ru-na will absolutely
cure catarb, will therefore be
good news. Pe ru n i, by re
moving I be catrrh, sweetens the
breath and causes health,y sec
letions to lake the place of the
irritating ones which have been
the cau^e of so much discorn
fort. The teeth are easily clean
ed aud the effects of a brisk
brushing remain. The tonga i
resumes its natural color aud
and ihe unhealthy coating dis¬
appears. Calarrli of the stom¬
ach also is often the cause of
foul breath. Pe-ru-na cures
catarrh wherever located.
