Liberty Tree Society selects VP
The Liberty Tree Society, Children of the American Rev
olution, recently met at the home of its president, Lily
Garnett,to plan the activities for the coming year, with
four members and one prospective member attending.
Not quite a year old, the Society had only enough
members to elect three officers. Since three new
members have been verified, it was felt a vice presi
dent was needed. Shelby Browning accepted the
nomination and was duly elected, then installed by
president, Lily Garnett.
