Dr. Kevin Smith introduces a special friend to the class.
These are the people
Forsyth United Methodist Church Preschool spent last
week looking at community helpers and how their jobs
impact our lives. Featured were visits from both the
Monroe County Fire Department and Sheriffs Office, a
baker, veterinarian Kevin Smith, and local ice cream
man Ronnie Daniel. This unit of study was both educa
tional and lots of fun for the children as well as the staff.
Firefighters demonstrate all the equipment it takes to
fight a fire.
Preschoolers become deputies for a day learning about
law enforcement.
