Vote NOW Through
November 4 th
Please Elect
Karen K. Martin
for Towaliga Circuit
District Attorney
Thank you for your enthusiasm and support. As most of you know,
I am a lifetime resident of this circuit. I taught school - high school and
college at Gordon and was a counselor at Lamar County High School
for some fourteen years and then changed careers to practice law with
my husband, Harold Martin, for some twenty-five years before his
death. My dream when I graduated law school was to work with the
D.A.’s Office, but my husband was a defense attorney and so I became
his partner in Martin & Martin, Attorneys Law Firm. He encouraged me
prior to his death to “follow my dream” and that is what I wish to do. I
want to be ready to work 100% when elected, so I chose to have my
much needed knee surgery prior to the November 4th election date and
have not been able to see each of you. I have a busy schedule and have
always strived to give each client’s case special attention and go the
extra mile. I want to do that for this circuit as your District Attorney.
Everyone’s case is the most important case in the world to that person
and should be treated as such. An expeditious solution should always
be sought for every person who violates the law! I believe in fair treat
ment for everyone and I further believe in swift and just punishment for
wrongdoings. I will work hard and faithfully to make for you and your
family a safer circuit in which to live and tell criminals loud and clearly
they are not welcome and will NOT be tolerated in Butts, Lamar, and
Monroe County!
