a special fiber arts exhibit

ety of pieces made of fabric

Alliance is located at 54 N.
Jackson St., Forsyth. The
gallery hours are 11 a.m.
to 4 p.m. Wednesday -
Friday.

Jewelry sale at
MC Hospital
The Monroe County
Hospital auxiliary is
having a jewelry sale
Thursday, Oct. 16, from
7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Each beautiful piece of
this fine quality costume
jewelry will be sold for
$5 each. There are hun
dreds to choose from.

checks accepted.

Local musician Matt
Pippin will be perform
ing at 8 p.m. at the
Juliette Opry Saturday
night. The show will
begin with a couple of
local groups. Admission

County Arts Alliance
Pumpkin Festival will be
held Saturday, Oct. 25
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on
the square in Forsyth.
There will be inflatibles,
arts and crafts with spin
art, sand art, scratch art,
pumpikin painting, jewlry
making, a costume contest,
pumpkin decorating con
test, games with prizes
and more fun activities.
Family movie night
Family movie night
will be held Saturday,
Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in
the vacant lot behind
Farmer’s Furniture. The
movie shown will be
“Horton Hears a Who.”
Admission is free and
parking is available at
the Forsyth Police Dept,
at S. Kimball and E.

the touch screen voting devices can get some help from
the election superintendent's office. Anyone who
would like some assistance can have a practice voting
session on a training unit in the office of election
superintendent Karen Pitman in the courthouse. For
