Cory Hinz and Fallon Cassidy
Cassidy, Hinz
Maryse and Bill Eastis, of Forsyth, and Todd Cassidy of
Branchville, New Jersey, announce the engagement of
their daughter, Fallon Patricia Cassidy of Marietta to
James Cory Hinz of Marietta.
Fallon is the granddaughter of Helene and Jack
Tiernan of Tyrone and Diane and Herb Cassidy of
Newton, NJ.
She graduated from High Point Regional High School
in Branchville, NJ and is a 2006 graduate of Georgia
Southern University with an Elementary Education
degree. Fallon is a kindergarten teacher at Sope Creek
Elementary School in Cobb County.
Cory is the son of Jackie and Jim Hinz of Jonesboro.
He is the grandson of the late Emma and George Kelly of
Statesboro and the late Marie and Vernon Hinz of
Kalamazoo, Mich.
Cory is a 2002 graduate of Jonesboro High School and a
2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a
Construction Management degree. He is employed by
R.J. Griffin and Company as a Project Engineer in
Atlanta.
The wedding is planned for April 4, 2009 in Roswell.

at ‘Oliver’ in Forsyth
“Oliver” is the musical based on the Dickens novel. It
was first presented in London, where it played for 2, 618
performances. It played for 774 performances on
Broadway, and has been revived several times. There’s
Oliver, Fagin, Nancy, Bill Sikes and the Artful Dodger
along with many other colorful characters, and many
outstanding musical numbers.
“Oliver” is directed by Marion McDougall with musical
direction form Sandy Watson. Performance dates are
November 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22 at 8:00 and November 16
at 2 p.m. All performances will take place at The Rose
Theater (23 West Johnston Street in downtown Forsyth).
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $8 for stu
dents. Box office hours are 4:30 to 6:00 the week before
the show, two hours prior to evening performances and
one hour prior to matinees. Please call 994-0443 to

Melissa Redding
Redding named
Teacher of the Year
Forsyth native Melissa Redding was named the
2007-08 Teacher of the Year at Henderson Middle
School in Jackson. She has been teaching special edu
cation for five years and serves emotional behavioral
disorder students.
She received her master’s of education degree in
August 2007 and received her specialist degree in edu
cational leadership from Georgia College and State
University in August 2008. Melissa is a 1995 graduate
of Mary Persons High School and the daughter of
Lewis and Laura Redding of Forsyth.
