The friendly staff of Little Angels in Bolingbroke.
Taking care of
your Little Angels
Each day the women of Little Angels Learning and
Daycare Center in Bolingbroke do what’s likely the
most important job in Monroe County: teaching and
taking care of the next generation.
Owner Sarah Eidson started working with kids in
1990 at a church preschool when her youngest child
entered kindergarten. She said it didn’t take her
long to realize she had a deep love for children.
When she and and her husband and two children
moved to Monroe County in 1999 she went to work
in a local daycare and joined the staff of what would
become Little Angels in 2003. A year and a half later
she had the opportunity to buy the daycare and
Eidson seized it.
Sarah said she and her staff of 17 co-workers have
earned the trust and confidence of parents. She said
they provide the best in quality child care and that
parents know their children are in a safe, clean and
caring environment at Little Angels.
Sarah said Little Angels offers a program that pro
motes the spiritual, social, cognitive and physical
development of each child. She also said staffers
understand that each child is unique, and they
therefore gear their activities to challenge each child
at his or her level.
Little Angels provides a warm, loving environment
for children ages 6 weeks-12 years. They offer family
discounts, video monitoring, nutritious breakfast,
lunch and snack, supervised activities and before
and after-school care.
The women employed at Little Angels are Megan
Moore, Johnnie Prater, Melanie Rembert, Crystal
Watson, Amber Smith, Chayata Character, Elsie
McMurray, Susan Davis, Chanteria Davis, Alethea
Walker, Demetrice Swint, Ashley Palmer, Makina
Conaway, Destinee Lane, Chandra Massey, Shelia
Watts, Tawanna Brown and Laura Lovett.
