The Cancer Crusaders
Relay for Life team is
having a Christmas dedi
cation on the square from
5 -7 p.m. Saturday, Dec.
13, 2008. Light a lumi-
naria in honor or in mem
ory of a loved one with
cancer for Christmas.
Luminarias are $3 and
will include a keepsake

Holiday concert
Forsyth/Barnesville
minister’s wives and wid
ows presents “A Holiday
Concert,” featuring 200
Voices Gospel Choir from
Dekalb Co. High School.
Local talent is also
included. The concert will
be held Saturday, Dec. 13
at 5 p.m. at William
Hubbard Middle School.

Canine Christmas
Save a Pet, Inc. is host
ing a benefit night from
4-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec.
13 at the Ensign house.
The event indues heavy
hors d’oeuvres, beautiful
gifts for sale and a raffle
for an electric grill, tick
ets are $20 in advance or
$25 at the door. All pro
ceeds go to help the furry
orphans of Monroe
County. The Ensign
